My Personal Emergencies

Here we go again, trying to seize the aries moon for she is becoming frantic again. All the time, its so hard to restrain
the symbol of what you deeply desire. And from whence did that desire come? That I do not know, but that which is constantly expressed in me uninhibitively.“So I gotta go”, says the Aries moon, after recognizing how her angst and her impatience could never get her where she wants to be. Grinning her way to her oblivion, she was happy to know that when she wakes up again, all demands will be desiriously and blissfully granted.

Everything

I can be an asshole of the grandest kind
I can withhold like it’s going out of style
I can be the moodiest baby and you’ve never met anyone
who is as negative as I am sometimes
I am the wisest woman you’ve ever met.
I am the kindest soul with whom you’ve connected.
I have the bravest heart that you’ve ever seen
And you’ve never met anyone
Who’s as positive as I am sometimes.
You see everything, you see every part
You see all my light and you love my dark
You dig everything of which I’m ashamed
There’s not anything to which you can’t relate
And you’re still here
I blame everyone else, not my own partaking
My passive-aggressiveness can be devastating
I’m terrified and mistrusting
And you’ve never met anyone as,
As closed down as I am sometimes.
You see everything, you see every part
You see all my light and you love my dark
You dig everything of which I’m ashamed
There’s not anything to which you can’t relate
And you’re still here
What I resist, persists, and speaks louder than I know
What I resist, you love, no matter how low or high I go
I’m the funniest woman you’ve ever known.
I am the dullest woman you’ve ever known.
I’m the most gorgeous woman you’ve ever known
And you’ve never met anyone as, as everything as I am sometimes.
You see everything, you see every part
You see all my light and you love my dark
You dig everything of which I’m ashamed
There’s not anything to which you can’t relate
And you’re still here
And you’re still here
And you’re still here…
Pause and Reflect
Friday, February 4th, 2011We grow great by dreams. All big men are dreamers. They see things in the soft haze of a spring day or in the red fire of a long winter’s evening. Some of us let these great dreams die, but others nourish and protect them; nurse them through bad days till they bring them to the sunshine and light which comes always to those who sincerely hope that their dreams will come true.

I cannot just heave everything I know into the abyss. But I know it is coming. And when it comes, when I have made my sacrificial offerings to the gods of understanding, then the ruptures will cease. Healing waters will cover the land, giving birth to new life, burying forever the ancient, rusting machines of my past understandings. And on those waters I will set sail to places I now only imagine. There I will be blessed with new visions and new magic. I will feel once again like a creative contributor to this mysterious world. But for now, I wait. An act of faith. Land ho.

Anatomy and Etymology
I am currently studying anatomy for the upcoming midterm exam and I would like to firmly grasp the things that I read. Therefore, I decided to make my study experience more interactive by blogging the origin of the names of the various structures found in the human pelvis and perineum.
